The main objective of this workshop is to strengthen the capacities of decision-makers from English-speaking East, West and Southern African countries in designing and formulating national ICT policies that put emphasize on community-based and public access, in the aim of establishing a dialogue between regulators, jurists, legislators, decision-makers, managers of public information centers/ telecenters, Internet service providers and representatives of regional economic communities.
